Nenita has 20 years of ITSM experience and currently manages an internal support team for U.S. Bank. A long time HDI member and officer originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she relocated to Portland, Oregon where continues to be involved in the HDI community.
I was born and raised in Portland and received a gymnastics scholarship to Univ of Iowa and graduated in 1991. I toured with the Bud Light Daredevils for 5 years performing a slam dunk halftime show at NBA and NCAA basketball games before starting my 22 year career at TEKsystems. I've been doing triathlons for about 5 years and I completed my first full Ironman in 2018.
I'm married and have boy/girl 16 year old twins and one step daughter, 22, and one step son 20. I'm really excited to sit on our local HDI chapter board and I look forward to growing our membership.
With over 20 years working in IT support and operations, Elizabeth has managed a number of disciplines including tier 1 support, tier 2 support , access management, network operations, and end user computing. She has also supported and administered ITSM software including as Remedy, Service Desk Express and Heat.
An HDI certified support center director, Elizabeth is dedicated to blending the best of established practices with new ideas to achieve goals, optimize efficiency and continually improve. She believes exceptional technical services are built on a foundation of effective and measurable processes, cohesive business relationships, and an engaged team of people who are empowered to be successful
Derek is still early in his career with 5 years of help desk experience. Currently working for Legacy Health as a Support Analyst to the Service Desk providing training, documentation and change management for the staff. A new member to HDI and long time local of the PDX community.
Currently immersed in the tech eco-system of Portland, Oregon, Amy is the West Coast Regional Manager for CompTIA Tech Career Academy where she collaborates with local CEO’s, CTO’s, IT Directors, HR staff and local community partners to gain insight into the industry and empower students who participate in their IT Technical Support Program as she helps them launch their careers as future technologists. Amy has over 14 years of nonprofit experience in various capacities including workforce development, youth development, leadership and empowerment, community engagement and volunteer management. In her free time, Amy takes every opportunity she gets to adventure into the outdoors with her favorite little guy, Scooter the pug.
